A garden in Gothenburg turned into a sculptural barbecue area: rocks, a tree-trunk pergola, a table and barbecue enclosures.
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
The starting point was an ordinary, empty garden next to a terraced house. We prepared the ground and foundations, then built a complete outdoor area for cooking and socialising.
The barbecue enclosures and cabinets were hand-sculpted in concrete as rocks with a natural texture. The pergola takes the form of tree trunks and branches with built-in lighting, and the large table received a sculpted base that imitates wood.
