Decorative floors, stairs and paving

Paving is the part of architecture everyone touches. On staircases, in arcades, at entrances and on ramps it must look good and, above all, withstand daily foot traffic. We create interior and exterior floors, stairs with landings and winders, entrance ramps, garden paths, terraces, aprons around buildings and bed edging, in the character of rubble stone, stone slabs, cobbles or any other pattern, including stamped concrete.

The best result comes from paving made with the same technique as the rest of the building. In our projects the floor, stairs, plinth and façade formed one coherent whole: this is how we finished a shopping centre (floors, stairs and wall cladding), stamped concrete ramps and stairs at a canteen and administrative building, and entrances to pharmacies and private houses with steps, landings and planters in the same stone.

We choose the technology according to the substrate, load, exposure to frost and water and intensity of use. Before starting we assess the substrate and falls, because exterior paving needs drainage and stairs need safe step geometry. The surface is finished with staining, patina and a protective layer suited to the location: different in a shopping arcade, different on a poolside terrace.
