Installation and integration
We are responsible for installing our elements on site and, on turnkey projects, also for integrating lighting, sound, smoke effects and electrical installation, and for commissioning.
The job does not end in the workshop. For large sculptures, artificial rockwork, façades, scenery and themed architecture, a key stage is correct transport, installation, joining of modules and final finishing of the whole form on site.
We install the elements we fabricate and can take part in coordinating work with other trades on the project. We plan for delivery sequence, access to the installation area, division of large objects into modules, fixing points, structural connections and future maintenance.
Once the elements are installed we make the necessary connections, model the joints, correct surfaces, paint and patinate so that production joints are not visible in the finished project.
On projects involving light, water, mist, smoke, sound or other special effects we work with the relevant installation contractors and integrate their components into the scenic layer.
The aim is to hand over a complete, visually coherent feature to the client, not a set of separate elements left to be joined by others.

Technology and execution
We plan the installation method as early as the fabrication stage. On large projects we take into account transport restrictions, access road dimensions, equipment availability, the construction sequence and conditions on site.
Monumental objects can be divided into modules that are structurally connected once in position and then finished so that the production split does not affect the final appearance.
Depending on the project, installation may require cooperation with crane operators, lifts, scaffolding, construction crews, structural engineers, electricians, plumbers and other specialists. We agree the division of responsibility before work starts so that each trade can work without clashes.
We pay particular attention to the interfaces between scenery and the building structure, floors, façade, services and other elements made by external companies.
After installation we carry out final modelling, texture corrections, infills, painting and patination. This way elements made at different stages can be visually joined into one object.
For special effects installations, the technical layer remains accessible for inspection and servicing while being concealed as discreetly as possible within the scenery.
Well-planned installation reduces the risk of damage, shortens time on site and preserves the quality achieved in earlier stages of the project.
