Rock gardens, retaining walls and fences

Many plots have a problem that can become an asset: a bank by the driveway, a sloping site, a concrete wall, an unattractive boundary with the neighbours. We build retaining walls styled as natural rock, terrace plots and model level changes, create rock terraces and seating areas, garden grottoes, as well as fences, posts and prestige boundary features in decorative stone.

The decorative layer is built on a properly prepared substrate or on a steel structure with reinforcement and mesh, in hand-sculpted cementitious and polymer-modified systems. Every stone, fissure and fracture is carved by hand, and colour is built up in layers so the rock blends with the planting, paths and façade of the house. Where a wall retains soil, the load-bearing structure is agreed with a structural engineer and the artistic layer is built on top of it.

From our projects: stone walls along a driveway and at a garage entrance, stone-clad banks next to a house, planters and edging in the same style as the plinth, fence posts and panels in faux stone, stone house façades with a rock garden, and in an amusement park walls, bridges and rock formations along the paths. The feature can be combined with a waterfall, a garden pond, lighting or a barbecue area.

A garden works in water and frost, so on every project we discuss drainage, drainage behind the wall and access to services. The service is primarily for private clients and residence owners, as well as guesthouses, hotels, developers, landscape architects and municipalities that want to turn difficult terrain into a prestige part of a property or public space.
