Scenic painting and texturing
Scenic painting and texturing determine whether a surface looks like stone, timber or metal. We carry them out by hand, in layers, with protective coatings.
We provide scenic painting, texturing, patination and surface ageing for amusement parks, hotels, resorts, commercial venues, public spaces, scenery and private projects.
For us colour is not the last coat applied to a finished object. It is part of the form. Carefully chosen tonal transitions, signs of wear, discolouration, dirt, patina and varied texture decide whether an imitation of stone, timber, metal, concrete or old render looks convincing even from close up.
We work both on elements we have made ourselves and on existing surfaces prepared by the client or other contractors. We can develop a colour scheme from the design, references and samples, or prepare our own solution to suit the character of the whole space.
We deliver single elements, large architectural surfaces and complete zones in which colour must unite many different materials and objects into one coherent world.

Technology and execution
We choose the finishing technology according to the substrate, location, weather exposure, intensity of use and the desired visual effect.
Before starting we analyse the surface, the material structure, the direction of light and how the object will be viewed. The colour of a monumental sculpture seen from dozens of metres away is built differently from an interior detail right next to the user.
We use a multi-layer approach. Instead of one uniform colour we build the surface with a base coat, glazes, dry brushing, local discolouration, contrasts, patina, signs of wear and details that emphasise the material structure.
When imitating natural materials we study their real character: the layering, cracking, erosion, the way they age, gloss or matt finish and colour variation.
On larger projects we prepare samples and reference sections so the colour direction can be approved before the whole surface is painted.
Final work can also be carried out after installation, making it possible to blend modules visually, conceal joints and unify the whole project.
Depending on the application we also select suitable protective and finishing systems, preserving the artistic effect while taking durability and future operation into account.
